Hesscor, Inc has been building playgrounds and related items since 1991. We install playground equipment, basketball posts, football goals, soccer goals, volleyball courts, track and field equipment, bleachers, shade shelters, picnic areas, and many other pre-manufactured items complete with plans. We also have excavation and concrete equipment to support a turnkey product and installation.
In addition, Hesscor, Inc installs and manufactures a variety of playground related surfaces, including TPV, EPDM and AmeriGrass. We have been using these products since 2002.
Hesscor, Inc. holds a Class A Engineering License and n L-5 license under its Professional Playground Installers (PPI) division. We are also members of the International Play Equipment Manufacturing Association (IPEMA) for our surfacing products.
History
Hesscor, Inc’s president, Steve Hess, started installing playground equipment in 1991. He was working by himself in this position for almost two years. During this time he was also working for Shasta Pools as a swimming pool excavator. In 1991 he obtained an L-5 Playground license and became a full-time playground installer. By 1992 there were four full-time employees and by 2007 the company had grown to forty employees.
Hesscor, Inc has been affiliated with National Playground Safety Institute since 1996. We have been associated with TERO (Tribal Employment Rights Office and the BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) for over two decades.
Hesscor, Inc has been supporting the community by supporting and sponsoring youth sport groups, and participating in a variety of KaBoom Builds projects since 2008. KaBoom is a national nonprofit that “envisions a great place to play within walking distance of every child in America.”
